About Natural History Museum of Utah

Open February 7 through July 26, Extreme Mammals–the biggest, smallest, and most amazing mammals of all time-explores the surprising and extraordinary world of mammalsFeaturing spectacular fossils, skeletons, taxidermy, and vivid reconstructions, the exhibition examines the ancestry and evolution of a vast array of species, living and extinct. And it examines what might be the most extreme mammals of all-ourselves.

The Museum's ten permanent exhibitions secure its place as one of the top natural history museums in the world. Enjoy engaging exhibits featuring Utah's dinosaurs, its diverse ecosystems, spectacular geography, and preserved artifacts from the state’s prehistoric peoples. The Museum’s Past Worlds exhibition features one of the largest collections of newly discovered dinosaur species in the world--all found in Utah.
