And remember, be nice to everyone at the event. This will keep it fun and keep you out of trouble. In purchasing this badge and in consideration for being admitted to the Event, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases Crucial Entertainment from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits Crucial Entertainment and its designees which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors to use and authorize the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter know for all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the event. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any kind at designated activities without the express written permission of Crucial Entertainment. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the Event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the Event.Â
Guest Appearances
While all guests are booked in good faith and we have their guarantee that they will appear, at times, unforeseen events may cause a particular guest to cancel. Reasons range from health issues to family emergency, to simply being grounded at the airport due to weather.  All conventions have cancelations for such reasons. Tickets are not refundable because a particular guest cancels. We offer a large selection of talent at East Coast Comicon so that even if one guest cancels, many more are on hand to meet with fans.
Exhibitor Items
East Coast Comicon, Crucial Entertainment or the Meadowlands Exposition Center are not responsible for sales of any items by individual exhibitors. Each exhibitor is an independent business and is responsibility forÂ
the quality, authenticity, and safety of any and all items sold at the convention.
Weapons
Do not bring real weapons to East Coast Comicon, they will be confiscated and turned over to the police. You may also face criminal charges. Do not bring knives, guns, throwing stars, swords, spears, incendiary devices or anything else that would be classified as a weapon. Brandishing a weapon will result in your immediate ejection from the convention with no refund.
Conduct
East Coast Comicon is a safe space.  This means we expect it to be a safe environment for fans from any ethnicity, creed, religious background, political background, gender, gender identity, sexual identity, sexual orientation, fandom, etc. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. This includes, but is not limited to: physical assault, verbal harassment, sexual harassment, stalking, unwanted physical contact, unwanted advances, or inappropriate photography.  (Inappropriate photography is defined as photography where the subject feels they are being stalked, exploited, degraded, or disrespected through being photographed. While it is reasonable that photographers will be photographing costumers and other parts of the convention, should this photography become harassing or sexual in nature, the photographer will be subject to the above harassment policy.)
Harassment is defined by the victim.
If it is determined – either by observation or by complaint – that an individual or group has harassed another attendee, any or all of the following things may occur –
That individual or group may be:
1. Warned to cease and desist;
2. Asked to leave the convention, or;
3. Banned from the convention for a period of time to be determined by staff.
For your own safety, if you feel that you are being harassed please report your problems to us before anyone else. If you cannot find a staff, crew, or volunteer member to assist you, please go to the information desks located near registration or near the entrance of the exhibition floor. Please report to us before taking matters into your own hands (such as personally confronting the aggressor or posting on social media).  We have professional security and they are properly equipped for these contingencies.
