Nevada County AirFest 2017

Friday, July 7th and Saturday, July 8th, 2017

The Nevada County AirFest festivities run July 7th and 8th, 2017, beginning with their famous TWILIGHT HANGAR PARTY featuring the musical entertainment of Lolo Gervais from 5 - 10 pm on Friday, July 7th and the AIRFEST Saturday from 8 am - 4 pm at the Nevada County Airport.

The entire AirFest weekend, organized by the Golden Empire Flying Association, (GEFA), raises funds for airport improvements and scholarships given to people interested in aviation. Over the years, GEFA has given out more than $50,000 in aviation scholarships and purchased new signs, paint, landscaping and computers for the airport.

During AirFest, there is a special Beer and Wine Garden with shade and seating on Ramp 1 from 1 to 5 pm. Come enjoy beverages and food, and listen to Lorraine & the Burning Sensations play 1970's vintage R & B, Motown and Rock (think Stevie Wonder, Aretha, Bonnie Raitt & Fleetwood Mac and more). Your AirFest admission will give you access the Beer and Wine Garden.

You can save money (20%) by purchasing your Twilight Hangar Party tickets and AirFest tickets online in advance. There are no fees to purchase tickets online, so your savings will add up!

You may also view the merchandise available for advance purchase that can either be picked up at The Nevada County Airport, The Union Newspaper office, at the Twilight Hangar Party or at AirFest itself. Please be sure to print and bring your ticket/voucher, or have your confirmation email showing your QR code on your smart phone, when picking up merchandise you have purchased online.

PLEASE NOTE:  Your entire order will be represented by one QR code for scanning, so please hang onto your receipt/voucher (on your smart phone or printed on paper) until everything  you have purchased has been received (admission tickets used, merchandise claimed). If your group is arriving separately, please print additional copies of the voucher for them for checking in at the gate.
