Food Vendor Application (DEADLINE: Tuesday, May 31st @ 11:59pm CST)

Thank you for your interest in setting up as a Food vendor at Dream Con 2022!

FOOD VENDOR REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a permit at least 30 days prior to the event start date with the City of Arlington and a valid Texas Sales & Use Tax Permit if collecting sales tax
- Must provide a Certificate of Insurance showing general liability, auto liability and workers' compensation coverage for your food vending operations
- No power or water hookups will be provided. We ask that you please be self-sufficient in these areas.
- Pay a $750 location fee per day you plan to attend and sell at the convention. This will be paid directly to Dream Con. Upon acceptance, a deposit of $500 will be required to hold your spot with the remaining balance due at a later determined date prior to the event.
- If you plan on vending the entire weekend, you are responsible for any equipment left at the stadium overnight. Dream Con will NOT provide or maintain insurance coverage for the vendor's property, and it is their sole responsibility to obtain insurance covering the loss.
- All vendors and their staff must adhere to the COVID policy and protocol as listed on the Dream Con website. Be advised there are mandates regarding masks, vaccinations and negative PCR tests. For more information visit:https://www.dreamconvention.com/covid-19-protocol


DREAM CON WILL PROVIDE:
- 3 Vendor badges for the event
- Promotion to attendees
- Dedicated vendor spot in designated outdoor area
- Sit-down eating locations for convention attendees


DREAM CON VENDING HOURS:
Friday from 2pm-8pm
Saturday from 10am-8pm
Saturday night from 10pm-2am
Sunday from 12pm-5pm

DEADLINE: All applications must be submitted by Sunday, May 15th @ 11:59pm CST

**Due to the capacity of this event, we predict that all food vendors will most likely sell out before the end of the convention day. We ask that you please be prepared, have some type of food restocking plan if you plan to attend this convention for the entire weekend, and also adhere to the dedicated food truck/trailer exit times for the safety of our attendees.



APPLICATION DEADLINE: SUNDAY MAY 15th @ 11:59pm CST
COVID-19 POLICY AND PROTOCOL: All attendees, vendors, guests, staff, volunteers, and persons 12-years old or older will need to be either: Fully vaccinated with an approved or authorized vaccine by the FDA or WHO (World Health Organization) within at least 72 hours upon arrival to the event. For acceptable proof of vaccination, you must have the original physical vaccination card (no photos or copies) along with valid Photo ID. Registrants without proof of vaccination must be able to provide a negative PCR test 72 hours before the event to attend. Rapid tests will NOT be accepted. Masks must also be worn. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: There will potentially be two dedicated times per day during convention hours for all food vendors to exit the vendor area with their mobile units safely if they need to leave for any reason. By checking the box below, you agree that you consent to keeping your mobile food unit in its dedicated vendor spot until the proper exit times, even if you sell out of merchandise before that time comes.
VENDOR PERMIT NOTICE: By checking the box below, you certify that you currently have or will have proper permitting for the City of Arlington, TX for the business you are applying under by July 14, 2022. You are also acknowledging that you understand that your company may not participate in the event without a valid permit by the due date provided by Dream Con.
SALES TAX NOTICE: By checking the box below, you acknowledge that if you plan on collecting sales tax, that you must have or will have a valid Texas Sales & Use Tax Permit for the business you are applying under by July 14, 2022. You are also acknowledging that you understand that without one, you may not participate in this event.
INDEMNITY / LIABILITY WAIVER: By checking this box, you acknowledge that you fully understand and consent to the fact that neither Dream Con nor Esports Stadium Arlington will be responsible for any equipment left overnight at the stadium. This includes any theft or vandalism to property. We ask that you please lock up any valuables or take them with you at the end of the convention day if you have any concerns.
