Rated G :: Attention Hobbit / Lord of the Rings Fans! Middle Earth gaming is back! SBG (Strategy Battle Game) was big when the movies were new, went quiet for a few years, and now has thousands of supporters around the world, including a league of >500 members in Ontario! Games Workshop has just released a new "Battle of Pelennor Fields" boxed set, and we will be setting up a demo table at Skycon to show it off, introduce new players to the game, and welcome back returning players who remember older versions of Hobbit/LOTR miniatures games from Games Workshop. Throughout the day we'll play several scenarios, all drop-in style: come for a turn, for a scenario, or for the day - up to you! Come see the new (and old!) models, the new rules, the new boxed set, come talk to members of the Ontario SBG (Middle Earth) League, and come have some fun!

Game Experience Level
Beginner
No experience required. This is a rules update for those who remember "The War of the Ring" or the Hobbit/LOTR "Strategy Battle Game", so it should look familiar if you have experience in those games, but is oriented at new players.
