RPG :: Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition
Rated PG-13 :: From the creators of the award winning game The Dark of Hot Springs Island, comes the next installment of the Swordfish Islands: Marlo's Mire. The Mire is a small, but dense, island consisting of four, 2 mile hexes. The core of the island is a low lying peat bog commonly called The Bone Mire. A roughly crescent shaped rise of jungle covered hills surrounds The Bone Mire and is home to a powerful wizard alternately called Marlo the Magnificent and Marlo the Mad. A giant albino saltwater crocodile, affectionately called "Walter" by Marlo, makes his home on the north side of the island and swims the sea and mire alike. Rocky shoals south of Marlo's Mire have become a veritable ship graveyard as traffic to the Swordfish Islands has increased. Never one to sleep on an opportunity, the Martel company sent a woman named Ivy to oversee salvage operations. But Ivy, seeing her own opportunities, has begun to build herself a little kingdom and two sets of accounting books. Recently, the Martel company sent a massive airship known as The Juggernaut, under the command of Captain Bel Caspian, to fly in lazy circles around Marlo's Mire. Is The Juggernaut here to pick up a secret ancient treasure, as salvage crews whisper around the tables in Ivy's Cantina? Or have they brought the big guns for another reason entirely?
