Rated G :: The Comicpalooza Houston MTG Championship presented by Ettin Games and Hobbies! Come compete for the title of Houston MTG Champion and win some awesome prizes! This will be a two part event with a Standard format tournament held on Friday to determine the top 8 players who will advance to Sunday's draft event. Fridays event will be comprised of 9 Standard Format Swiss rounds wherein the players will bring their own constructed decks and compete full day for their chance to top 8 and make it to day 2 on Sunday. The top players 8 players will compete for the following: 1st Place- 3 boxes of Modern Masters 2017 2nd Place- 1 box of Modern Masters 2017 and 2 Boxes of Amonkhet 3rd/4th Places- 2 boxes of Amonkhet 5th/6th Places- 1 box of Amonkhet 7th/8th Places- Pack Payout of Amonkhet In addition to Comicpalooza admission, participants will pay a $35 tournament fee to be paid.
