RPGs :: Cthulhu Invictus (Call of Cthulhu in the time of the Roman Empire)
Rated PG-13 :: In the city of Alexandria, just weeks before her marriage, a beautiful young woman is abducted. She was snatched from the marketplace after a group of men nearly beat her bodyguard to death. Her brother in law, a powerful Roman official, he wants her found and returned home safely as quickly as possible. However, with unrest once again simmering in the province the authorities are stretched far too thin to mount an effective search. He hires the investigators to track down these ruffians, bring them to justice (or deliver it upon them), and return his wife’s younger sister home. However, the men who took her serve a dark and ancient God, Nephren-Ka, The Black Pharaoh, and they have some very dark plans for her. Can the investigators reach her in time?
