Miniatures ::
Rated G :: HeroScape is an expandable turn-based miniature war gaming system. The game is played using pre-painted miniatures that come with pre-set statistics on factory printed cards called “Army Cards”. The game is played on a board made from interlocking hexagonal tiles. The heroes are heavily inspired by popular science fiction and fantasy, as well as the old west, the Roman Empire, Ancient Greece, Japan, the Scottish Highlands, etc. A team may consist of heroes from many genres, with dragons, elves, robots, angels, demons, vampires, werewolves, dinosaurs, and wizards fighting alongside (and against) human soldiers, Vikings, knights, samurai, cowboys and futuristic agents. Quests of HeroScape will be easy to learn for beginners and just as fun for those familiar with HeroScape. Every player will check out a random bag with everything they need to play. The terrain will already be set up. The rules and instructions will be explained at the beginning of each session. The goal is to gain points from Quest Cards by completing quests while battling other players. The first player to complete three quests wins the game. Should time expire before any player has completed three quests, the winner will be determined by the number of points each player has accumulated, along with number of surviving characters.
