Chris Sturges has been involved in the special event industry since he was far too young to be in bars, over 30 years. His event management experience includes roles in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies and logistics for the Vancouver Mural Festival 2016 and 2017. He's been volunteering with VCON since VCON 24. Besides event management, Chris plays with explosives and fire in the movie industry in Vancouver. His credits include Chronicles of Riddick, Alien vs Predator Requiem, Final Destination 3, Arrow, Riverdale, Masters of Horror, X Men: The Last Stand, Robson Arms, Stargate SG-1, Supernatural, etc. For fun, Chris plays roleplaying games and board games with his family and runs conventions...
