At the age of 13, Chris advanced to the Semi-final round of the 1990 Nintendo World Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio. Twenty-five years later, he was given a second chance to fulfill his boyhood dream and won the Chicago, Illinois regional of the 2015 Nintendo World Championships, finishing 9th in the finals in Los Angeles, California. Chris is an amateur video game historian and game collector and was featured in the documentary series Nintendo Quest: Power Tour. In 2014 he founded the Columbus Retro League, a group that runs offbeat retro video game tournaments around Ohio.
