Nick Roberts

Nick Roberts is a geoscience researcher and educator specializing in the processes that shape Earth’s surface. He focuses on the Quaternary Period – the last 2.6 million years of Earth’s history, when glacial cycles became progressively more dominant – and the Pliocene Epoch leading up to it. His current research is concentrated in the mountain ranges of western Canada and in the Andes of South America. Nick has worked, lived, and played along some Earth’s major fjord coastlines, including BC, Chile and Norway.
