McCloskey has traveled the country from the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia to the California Academy of Sciences, sharing fascinating facts about common creatures. His debut book, We Dig Worms! was created in 2015 when McCloskey's wife Patt, a librarian, asked for a fun book to teach kids about worms, and the rest is history! Since then McCloskey has written a myriad of quicky, informative tales, including Snails Are Just My Speed!, The Real Poop on Pigeons!, and Ants Don't Wear Pants!.
