John 5 is one of the most in-demand guitarists on the music scene today, having worked with Marylin Manson, Rob Halford, David Lee Roth, and countless others as both a hired gun and permanent bandmate. He currently plays for Rob Zombie on tour and in the studio. John has also produced numerous solo records — one of which, “Careful with that Axe”, shares the title of his story for TALES FROM THE ACKER-MANSION, a surreal rockstar fable about a Telecaster guitar that seems to give a young boy special powers.
