Tim Russ

Tim Russ is an actor, director, screenwriter and musician, best known for his roles as Lieutenant Commander Tuvok on Star Trek: Voyager, Frank on Samantha Who?, and as Principal Franklin on the Nickelodeon live-action teen sitcom iCarly. You also know him from his role in Spaceballs as the Trooper that is combing the desert.

Russ has been extensively involved in the Star Trek franchise, as a voice and film actor, writer, director and producer. Prior to being cast as Tuvok, Russ portrayed the roles of Devor in Star Trek: The Next Generation, a Klingon Deep Space Nine, and a crew member of the USS Enterprise-B in the film Star Trek Generations. He has co-written Star Trek comic books, and is the director and one of the stars of the fan series Star Trek: Of Gods and Men and Star Trek: Renegades

His voice acting credits include Spider-Man (The Prowler), Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (Bandero), Stormrise (Donovan), Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (Black Panther, Colossus), Dragon Age: Origins (Zathrian), Sym-Bionic Titan (Solomon), The Elder Scrolls Online (Blademaster Qariar), Fallout 4 (Lancer Captain Kells), and Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst (Birdman).

Tim’s other TV credits include roles on The Highwayman, Freddy’s Nightmares, Hannah Montana, Castle, SeaQuest DSV, Beauty and the Beast, Alien Nation, The Twilight Zone, Amazing Stories, and much more!
