Terence H. Winkless, also known as Terence Henry, played the original costumed character known as Bingo in The Banana Splits television series (NBC 1968 - 1970). Terence went to work as an editor working on low-budget films, commercials, and industrials, while simultaneously writing scripts at night. After several swings and misses, the material started to sell – to Columbia, Warner Bros., Paramount, MGM, and to independents, but the fever to direct persisted, and at length, Roger and Julie Corman gave him the opportunity to fulfill his dreams or fall on his face. He managed to keep his face intact, make a dozen movies for the Cormans as director, writer, and producer. His writings include the screenplay for The Howling.

Terence helped put The Power Rangers on the map and directed the original TV series, as well as Pacific Blue, 18 Wheels of Justice, and several TV movies including The Westing Game, from the popular kids book by Ellen Raskin.
