Fred VanLente

Writer Fred Van Lente is the co-founder of Evil Twin Comics, along with (fellow DCC guest) artist Ryan Dunlavey, which produces non-fiction comics with an historical focus, such as Action Philosophers, Action Presidents, and Comic Book Comics, about the history of the medium itself.

But Fred is not limited to the historical comics. He also launched the recent Archer & Armstrong comic, X-O Manowar, Magnus Robot Fighter, and Generation Zero for Valiant Entertainment, G.I. Joe for IDW, and Weird Detective for Dark Horse Comics. His Marvel work includes co-authoring Incredible Hercules with Greg Pak, Alpha Flight, Captain America, Deadpool and more recently, Slapstick for Marvel’s digital “Infinite Comics” line.
