Art Baltazar

Art Baltazar, the award winning comics creator and artist of our 2015 program cover art, returns to DCC! Art got started with his self-published comic book The Cray-Baby Adventures, going on to create Gyro-Man, Captain Camel & the Space Chicken, Jimmy Dydo, Lunar Lizard, Meteor Mite, Grimmiss Island, and the famous Patrick the Wolf Boy. Baltazar is also creative force behind The Eisner Award winning Itty Bitty Hellboy, The New York Times Best Selling, Eisner Award, Harvey Award Winning DC Comics’ Tiny Titans, and artist of The DC Super-Pets children’s book series. He also co-wrote DC’s Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam, Young Justice, Green Lantern Animated and is the artist and co-writer for the Tiny Titans/Little Archie crossover and the epic Superman Family Adventures. Baltazar is also the co-founder of the Aw Yeah Comics comic shop in the Chicago area, and co-creator of the Aw Yeah Comics comic book series.
