He also created and outlined the Spirit Animals series for Scholastic, writing the first of those seven novels. His latest novel is Dragonwatch, the first in a five-book sequel series to Fablehaven.

Brandon lives in UT with his four kids and a dog named Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
