Yuta Mochizuki

Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

Yuuta Mochizuki joined Japan Action Club, the school responsible for training the stunt actors appearing in Toei's superhero programs, in 1986 at the age of 21. In 1990, he began acting for television, eventually landing the role of J1, leader of the Neo Jetman team in the 15th Super Sentai installment, Chōjin Sentai Jetman (1992). This eventually led to the starring role of Geki, leader of Dinosaur Sentai Zyuranger (1992), the original Japanese TV series that would eventually begin the Power Rangers craze in North America and throughout the world. In 1993, Mochizuki began appearing in the Sailor Moon musical as Tuxedo Mask and a number of other characters, as well as choreographing some of the action sequences. He was given the leading role of Koji Segawa, hero of the 1994 Kamen Rider J movie directed by Keita Amemiya. He then continued his career by branching out into voice-over work for TV anime series such as Toei's Ojamajo Doremi (Magical Doremi) and Ashita no Nadja (Tomorror's Nadja) before retiring from the entertainment business in 2005.
