Lita was involved in the first two Raw main events featuring women. She won both matches, the first against Stephanie McMahon and the second against Trish Stratus. This match against Stratus has been considered one of the best Women's Championship match in WWE history. The match had also been reported to have been used during female training segments, to show new women joining WWE how significant and influential this match is in terms of performance. She faced Victoria in the first ever women's steel cage match.
