Caroline Kepnes

CAROLINE KEPNES’ first novel You was shortlisted for a CWA New Blood Award. Her second novel Hidden Bodies is a sequel that Booklist describes as "the love child of Holden Caulfield and Patrick Bateman". Caroline's newest novel, Providence, will be premiered and on sale early only at Denver Comic Con. You can meet her and she will autograph that or her previous books at the DCC and Tattered Cover Pavilion signing booths at no charge – just like all our guest authors!

Stephen King calls her writing "hypnotic...never read anything like it". A Lifetime series based on You is currently in production with Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble producing, with Penn Badgley playing the lead. Caroline earned a BA in American Civilization at Brown University and worked as a pop culture journalist for Entertainment Weekly and a TV writer for 7th Heaven and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She is from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and now writes full-time and lives in Los Angeles.
