I was born and raised in Kansas City. In my early 20s, life took me to the Boston area, where I entered the world of advertising and marketing. Soon, I met my husband who lived in Southern California and after a long-distance romance, I found a job with an ad agency in Orange County and moved there. I enjoyed much success in my advertising career for around 25 years.

After nearly 30 years in California, my mother was aging and having health issues here in Missouri, so we packed up and moved back here in 2009. Mom became my primary job at that point, but I felt the need to have some sort of business. I happened upon Avon one day and thought I may as well give it a shot--it only cost $10 to get started. I found it incredibly easy to build a business and a lot of fun. It was a great way for me to meet new friends (I'd been gone from the area for 40 years and knew practically no one here!). Soon, I had built a large team and was among the top sellers/leaders in the district.

As Mom's health worsened, I found time was becoming an issue for me. The 2 week ordering system with Avon and making deliveries every other week was becoming more than I could handle. Stress was taking a toll on me. I met someone through networking who introduced me to a whole new way of dealing with life's stresses via essential oils. And, I was hooked! I set off on a new venture with doTERRA in 2013 and have never looked back. It is an entirely different way of doing direct sales than Avon. I hold classes to educate, participate in events and hold regular monthly team meetings and workshops.

My doTERRA business has led to my being involved in 2 other businesses--Bella Vintaj which is beautifully-crafted jewelry with an entire line created to be used with essential oils and Skin By Nature which is a small company that makes all natural skin care products at affordable prices.
