Ever wondered what it would be like to read a comic about a queer, Jewish, female PhD student? Then Summit is the comic for you. Creator Amy Chu is coming to DCC '18. Co-founder of Alpha Girl Comics, Chu has devoted her career to writing stories for everyone and promoting female voices in comics. She is a prolific writer, powered by copious amounts of coffee and downtime with Legos. Chu has worked for for multiple publishers, including DC (Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman), Marvel (Emma Frost, Ant Man, Deadpool), and Valiant (X-O Manowar), though she may be most well known for her work with Dynamite Entertainment on Red Sonja and Kiss. Make sure to pick up her newest work, Summit, and experience the dynamism of Valentina 'Val' Resnick Baker.
