Dean Haspiel

Ready for The Fox? Or perhaps you're more interested in the tumultuous love of Billy Dogma and Jane Legit (Fear, My Dear: A Billy Dogma Experience Brawl, Keyhole). Then you're in luck because the award-winning writer and artist Dean Haspiel is coming to DCC '18. Haspiel may be best known for his collaboration with Harvey Pekar on the American Splendor series and the graphic novel The Quitter. When not contributing to comics, this Brooklyn based artist keeps busy with TV design work, earning him a 2010 Emmy Award for his work on Board to Death (HBO). Pekar is not the only author Haspiel as collaborated with; he's also worked with Jonathan Ames (The Alcoholic), Inverna Lockpez (Cuba: My Revolution) and Jonathan Lethem (Back on Nervous Street).
