Kurt Lustgarten, the author of the popular graphic novel series Misfit City, is going to DCC ’18. Published by Boom! Studios, co-written with screenwriter and novelist Kristen ‘Kiwi’ Smith, Misfit City tells the story of Wilder and her friends as they embark on a real pirate adventure in their tiny town. Something of a meta take on The Goonies, this modern revision puts a group of sharp young women in the middle of the adventure this time.
