David Pedreira is a science fiction writer whose debut novel, Gunpowder Moon, was released by Harper Voyager in February, 2018. BookBub named the novel a breakout hit for 2018, and The Verge called it “a chillingly realistic book about the fight to control the Solar System.” The book is under option for a TV series, and is being published later this year in France and Germany. Pedreira is a former award-winning reporter for newspapers including The Tampa Tribune and the St. Petersburg Times, and he’s written about space for media outlets including CNN.
