Annalee Newitz

ANNALEE NEWITZ, journalist, tech editor, and author of short-form fiction and nonfiction, is coming to DCC with advance copies of her new novel, “Autonomous” deemed “paradoxically humanistic but non-anthropomorphic depiction of bot-POV”. Annalee is the recipient of a Knight Science Journalism Fellowship from MIT, and has written for Popular Science, Wired, and The San Francisco Bay Guardian among others. She is currently the Tech Culture Editor at Ars Technica and was the founding editor of io9. She previously served as EIC of popular tech site Gizmodo. Autonomous is Annalee's first novel and she can be found at techsploitation.com.
