2:00 pm to 3:30 am in Campus: Movement Place
Move Awake is a dancing meditation experience of unity with oneself, one another, and the divine power of all as a collective consciousness. Starting in a circle format, this class transitions from simple pranayama and asanas to primal dance movements. Touring through the first four chakras, class moves through the themes of honoring oneself, honoring one another, recognizing all is one, and celebration of love as the divine power. We move as a group, using all available space and building power through collective, rhythmic prana. The intention is to slough off what we don’t need and root down what holds us in the strongest space using unchoreographed movement that brings about mindful introspection. Class ends with a guided body scan shavasana. No previous dance or yoga experience necessary.
