Flower City Comic Con (September 24-25, 2022 at Total Sports Experience) invites qualified working journalists to submit a registration request for a complimentary media pass that provides:
- Exhibit floor access to the event during hours open to the public
- Limited access to seminars and panels based on capacity
- Potential interview opportunities with Flower City Comic Con personnel and guests, as directed through the Public Relations office
TO REGISTER: Complete the Press Credential Application and submit it with all required information. All applications must be completed with all required information and received no later than September 23, 2022, to be considered. Submit one form for each applicant from the outlet, with unique email address for each.
Media credentials are reserved for working members of the media only. This includes editors, reporters, writers, bloggers, producers, camera crews, and still photographers. Employees of media outlets who do not work in an editorial capacity are not qualified for a media credential.
Some of the criteria for acceptance include relevance to the genre, prior convention coverage, Google rank, social media activity/followers and audience/circulation if applicable.
If accepted, applicants will get a confirmation email with pickup instructions and other relevant info prior to the event.
If you have been credentialed at a comic con type of event before, be sure to include links to coverage of that event. If this would be your first event, be sure to include links to related coverage from the outlet for which you intend to work.
PLEASE NOTE:
Flower City Comic Con reserves the right to modify this policy without public notice and may deny any applicant a media badge. Submitting the registration form does not automatically qualify applicants for credentials. All qualified media must be prepared to show valid photo identification and a business card.
