Media Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines 2023
Press Registration for FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention 2023 will close on August 25, 2023, at 11:59 PM (MST). There will be NO on-site Press applications taken at the convention. If you applied for a Press credential this year, you would hear back from FanX by Friday, September 1, 2023.
Approved Press are provided complimentary Press Badges and a wristband for all three days, valid for General admission to all unticketed events held at FanX. -This will not include the Back to the Future Event at this year's event. That is a ticketed event and much be purchased separately.
-Your Press Badge allows access as long as space is available.
-Your Press Badge does NOT allow early access, special access, or guaranteed seating. NO Recordings or Photos are permitted in any Panels at FanX.
-Your Press Badge does NOT allow you to cut lines.
-Complimentary Press Badges are extended as a courtesy of FanX. Each is issued individually are non-transferable. You may not transfer or sell your Press Badge. Anyone conducting such behavior will be disqualified from Press Badges at future FanX events.
-There is a limited supply of Press credentials for this event. They are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all available are issued, no more will be available. Media groups are limited on how many they can request based on the media type.
-All Press/Media are subject to approval. You will be notified within the date range based on your submission date. You will be notified and asked to submit additional information if your application needs approval. Your confirmation email will provide further information regarding the press room and badge distribution if approved.
-We highly recommend that you apply early!
