Alex has been dancing for 24 years. She grew up dancing, spending most time in her mom’s dance studio. She has taken classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, modern, and acrobatics.
She’s also into musical theater with 20 years under her belt. She started teaching dance and choreography for musicals at 16, and over the past 6 years, choreographed 17 shows. Her most recent being Cabaret at a community theater in Illinois.
Her favorite style of dance is tap and her favorite style of choreography is musical theater and contemporary. She doesn’t have any particular favorite dance groups, but she does love watching World of Dance and So You Think You Can Dance
