Mauro Castillo is a Colombian composer, singer, trombonist, and actor best known for his role as Felix in Encanto. His first album, "Bailá salsa" is the best selling salsa album in Colombia.

As an actor, he won best telenovela and was the nominee for best revelation actor for El Joe, the legend in 2012 at the India Catalina. In 2021, he was cast as Felix in Disney’s Encanto.

In his musical career, he has received multiple awards and nominations. He received three first place prizes from the Petronio Ávarez Pacific Music Festival as a composer and singer, two Latin Grammy nominations in 2006 for his work with Tito Nieves and N'Klave, and was a nominee for the 2007 Lo Nuestro Awards 2007. In 2019, he won "Best Artist or Salsa Group of the Year" and "Best Tropical Artist of the Year" at the Latino Show Awards.
