Born in Mexico, Natalia Treviño is the author of the poetry collection, VirginX. A professor of English in San Antonio, she learned English from Sesame Street’s Bert and Ernie and has a masters in English from UT San Antonio as well as an MFA from the University of Nebraska. Her national and international awards include the Alfredo Cisneros del Moral Award and the Menada Literary Award at the Ditet E Naimit Poetry Festival in Macedonia. Her first book, Lavando La Dirty Laundry, was a national and international awards finalist. Natalia’s poems appear in Bordersenses, Borderlands, Voices de la Luna, and other journals and anthologies.
