James Maxwell started cracking whips in 1990 at age nine following a viewing of Raiders of the Lost Ark. His study of the whip as both a martial tool and a active hobby have continued since then. Highlights of his study have been meeting David Morgan, maker of the Indiana Jones Whips, spending time with Anthony and Mary DeLongis at their ranch, and introducing people to the world of the whip.
