Daniel Trout

Dan Trout saw his first bullwhip in 1981 when it flashed across the screen in the opening scene of "Raiders of the Lost Ark," and he's been obsessed with it since He has intently studied bullwhip handling for nearly two decades and has trained with Wild West performers, Guinness World Record holders, martial arts masters, and legendary Hollywood stuntmen. He teaches bullwhip handling classes at The Columbus Saber Academy in Columbus, Ohio and is the producer, director and editor of the “Tibetan Wave: The Filipino Fighting Whip” video training program with Senior Grandmaster Ron Lew, and the co-writer, producer, cinematographer, and editor of the forthcoming “Bullwhip Combatives at Multiple Ranges” video training collaboration with Anthony DeLongis and Ron Lew.
