Gene Tausk

Gene Tausk is a hopologist from Houston, Texas. He has been involved in martial arts for over 25 years, earning a teaching certificate in Ship Pal Gae Kung Fu. He has also studied Russian fighting systems in Russia. In the 1990’s he became involved in Western Martial Arts through the Association for Renaissance Martial Arts (“ARMA”), earning a Senior Free Scholar ranking in longsword. Since leaving ARMA, he is now the chief instructor at the Ordo Draconis (“Order of the Dragon”) Historical European Martial Arts school in Houston. In 2013, he was awarded the ranking of Senior Free Scholar in Sword and Buckler. Besides Historical European Martial Arts, Gene also practices and teaches WWII Combatives.
