ASHER ANGEL is a multi-talented actor, singer, dancer and musician who has been performing since he was six years old. He is best known for his role as Billy Batson in the highly praised DC Comics superhero film, SHAZAM! and as Jonah Beck on Disney Channel’s critically acclaimed award-winning hit series “Andi Mack.” It is the first series on Disney Channel to win a GLAAD Media Award.


Angel is signed to mega producer L.A. Reid’s label, HitCo Entertainment and co-managed by Johnny Wright (Justin Timberlake, Incubus). He can be seen on tour, performing his single “Chemistry”. It is now available on all platforms and the music video has captured millions of views. He is currently working on anticipated new music that will be released later this year.


Angel is from Paradise Valley, Arizona, the foundation to where his acting career began. Following his transformational roles from productions at Desert Stages Theatre and Arizona Broadway Theater, he took home his first National Youth Arts Award in 2013. He was also awarded the 2015 National Youth Awards for Junior Artist of the Year and Outstanding Lead Actor, Junior Division for his performances. Based on his background, Asher aspires to take his talents to perform on Broadway in the near future.


Opportunities have also been quickly manifested for Angel once arriving to Hollywood. In 2016, he booked guest-star appearances on CBS’s “Criminal Minds” and Nickelodeon's “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn,” as well as a number of national commercials. That same year he was cast to play one of the leads Jonah Beck, in “Andi Mack,” which first aired in March 2017. SHAZAM! marks the first major film role for Angel.
