The architect of the modern wrestling comics scene, Kingston released the first issue of his critically-acclaimed graphic novel series Headlocked in 2008. Since then, Headlocked Comics has been the premier brand for wrestling comics. Kingston has collaborated with over forty wrestlers on stories and art for both Headlocked and its companion anthology series, Tales From The Road. Notable collaborators include cover artist Jerry "The King" Lawler, Mick Foley, Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, Danhausen, and Dolph Ziggler. Beyond Headlocked, Kingston has also penned several issues of the WWE Comic from Boom Studios including collaborations with AJ Styles and Samoa Joe.
