Mike Zeck is a comic book artist whose style helped to set the standard for Marvel Comics in the late 1970's and 1980's. His stand-out work on MASTERS OF KUNG-FU and CAPTAIN AMERICA brought a wave of interest in Marvel just in time for his work on the ground-breaking SECRET WARS. Zeck is most well-known for designing the black and white Spider-Man costume that would later become the villain known as Venom. Zeck was also influential in 1986 when he collaborated with writer Steven Grant to release the Punisher's first mini-series. He continued to work with Marvel Comics and established one of the most compelling Spider-Man story arcs of all time, "KRAVEN'S LAST HUNT".
