Alex Wilkins

Alex is the Manager of Adult Engagement Programs at COSI, and works to provide events, workshops, and programs to COSI's Adult Audience. Before coming to COSI's Education Department, she received my Master's in Anthropology at The Ohio State University with a focus in primate ecology and conservation! As an Educator with a Science background, her mission is to show people how they can use science to better themselves, and the world around them. She wants people - no matter their background - to see the value science and exploration can have in their everyday lives. Curiosity, inspiration, and creativity shouldn't escape us after childhood. Through her work with adult learners at COSI, she strives to bring out those qualities that can make our lives fulfilling, successful, and enjoyable. Sometimes the workshops even sneak in a little bit of learning! Besides science education, she also loves exploring the world on her own time. You'll often find her traveling, hiking, reading, and rock climbing!
