Daniel’s inner 10 year old is still overjoyed that he has become a game researcher and designer. Over his life he has been a soldier, an independent tabletop game designer, and a conflict mediator; nowadays he is a father and PhD student at Ohio University’s Media School. His primary research interest is a question that is so simple no one has a good answer for it: “Why are games fun?”
