Kristen Harris

Thirteen years as a designer, art director and creative manager for corporate marketing departments gave her an eye for talent and a passion for working with creative people. After years of wishing there was a better way to connect with creative people for projects or positions, she and Catherine Lang-Cline decided to fill that need themselves.



Founded in 2005, the goal of starting Portfolio Creative was to provide a better way to connect creative talent with clients who need their skills. Portfolio Creative does this by placing temp, temp-to-hire, direct hire, and contractors into advertising and marketing roles for their clients in need.



Over the years Portfolio Creative has been honored with awards including Inc 500|5000 list, Best Places to Work, Best Temp Staffing Firm, and finalists for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Kristen received the Visionary Award from the Columbus Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.



Kristen is a Certified Staffing Professional with the American Staffing Association, and serves on the American Staffing Association National Board of Directors. She supports local creative and business communities through work with organizations like Columbus Society of Communication Arts, Columbus College of Art and Design, and EO Columbus.
