A professional voice actor for the last six years, Carrie has voiced game characters ranging from a spoiled child, to a diva warrior princess, to an ancient crone, and many in between. She found her voice-acting calling late(ish) in life, after a career in science, but has always been a performer, and uses her classical voice and musical theater training to create unique character voices. As games become more grounded and cinematic, finding the right voice to bring a character to life is crucial for player engagement. Carrie's talks will help you find that voice actor, or maybe become one yourself. She is happy to be a part of GDEX for the third time to share her love of bringing video game characters to life with her voice.
