Joey Lauren Adams is one of the stand-out personalities in Kevin Smith’s View Askewniverse. Adams was first introduced into Kevin Smith films in Mallrats as the character, Gwen, but it was her role as Alyssa Jones in the 1997 film, Chasing Amy that became a iconic performance which she was nominated for a Golden Globe. Adams has also appearance in such fan-favorites as Dazed and Confused, Bio-Dome, and starred opposite Adam Sandler in the romantic-comedy Big Daddy.
