Nichelle Nichols is a TV icon with her portrayal of Nyota Uhura in the STAR TREK original series as well as voicing the character for STAR TREK: THE ANIMATED SERIES in addition to all six Star Trek films following. Her role later saw her working with NASA to promote diversity in the space program. Nichelle is also known for her role in the series HEROES as Nana Dawson.
