Chris Warren is the director and co-writer of IN THE BLOOD. He was raised in the theatre as a child but has always been interested in filmmaking. It wasn’t until college that he got his first opportunity at getting behind the camera to begin viewing the images in his mind through a lens. There he won his first award for a short film, HOW TO SURVIVE A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. Soon after, he met Mel House, first working with him on WALKING DISTANCE (distributed by Lionsgate as PSYCHIC EXPERIMENT) as a Key Grip. From there, Chris has been working in independent film for over a decade mostly as a well-respected, in demand First Assistant Director. In 2019 alone Chris worked on nine films, ranging in genre from horror, to drama, to snapchat romance series. IN THE BLOOD marks Chris’ debut as a Director. Looking toward the future, Chris hopes to start directing more, and bringing more images from his mind to the screen.
