Catherine Sutherland

Catherine was born in Sydney, Australia, and had a love of performing for as long as she can remember. At age 14 she was accepted into McDonald College of Performing Arts where her creativity blossomed. At age 17 she was scouted by an agency and began modeling professionally in various print campaigns and commercials.
After graduating high school, she attended drama school and worked professionally as a dancer, singer and actress in both theater and television.
In 1995, she was invited to America to play the role of Katherine Hillard, the second Pink Power Ranger in the hit kids’ TV show Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. She continued this role in Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo, as well as Power Rangers: A Turbo Movie. With over 100 episodes filmed in the series, Cat has most certainly made her mark with the fandom.
After leaving the show, she continued to work as an actress in various commercials while voicing video games and toys. She also performed as Ann Marie Vicksey in the hugely popular cult film The Cell, with Jennifer Lopez.
Catherine is also a writer and in 2018 published her first children's book The Boy with the Heart on His Sleeve. In 2020-2021 Cat co-created the aforementioned YouTube channel, Power Rangers Playback, and the podcast series Super Chat with Cat and Nakia.
When she isn’t traveling the world to conventions and appearances, Cat resides in Southern California with her husband, two children, and “furry son” Odie. In her downtime, her favorite thing is to spend time with the people she loves.
