Jason Frank

Jason David Frank is well-known for his role of Tommy Oliver in the long-running children's television show Power Rangers. His character has morphed into the most different power rangers in the show's twenty-six year history and has appeared in over 225 episodes, more than any other ranger. He was first the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger, followed by Mighty Morphin White Ranger, Red Zeo, Red Turbo and Black Dino Thunder Ranger.
He’s a highly accomplished martial artist with over 40 years of experience. Currently an eighth degree black belt in American Karate, purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Master of Muay Thai, and inductee of the World Karate Union Hall of Fame. In 1994, he created his own martial arts system, "Toso Kune Do" and is the owner of Rising Sun Karate with two schools in Texas and one in California. In January 2013, he became the Guinness World Record Holder for most 1‐inch pine board broken during a skydive freefall.
He has brought his poetry to light in his JDF Spoken Truth series on his YouTube channel. Original pieces written and recorded by him including visuals to match his spoken words. He’s released “Mask”, “Walls”, “Branches”, and “Mental Prison” with more to come in his first series. His short film “In My Head” is being screened at current film festivals and has won awards for Best Actor.
“The Legend of the White Dragon” is his latest project in collaboration with Bat In The Sun. The full feature film was filmed and wrapped in the summer of 2021. He plays the main character, “Erik Reed” who is also the “White Dragon”. The movie is set to release in 2022 in theaters and streaming services. The full synopsis is below:
The White Dragon, Erik Reed, has returned home to Virtuo City 3 years later after being defeated in a colossal battle against the ancient overlord, Ashtagor. The crystal he used to become the White Dragon was broken in two as a result of the epic battle, both pieces were subsequently lost. Being blamed for the destruction and collateral lives lost, his identity was outed after the battle thus making him a fugitive from the law. We now follow Erik on his journey as he teams up with treasure hunters from the past who help him reclaim his power as the White Dragon. Once reunited with his powers, he and his team are now ready to battle a new threat, Dragon Prime, who seeks revenge against the White Dragon. Erik must now try and defeat Dragon Prime in order to get one step closer to clearing his name and being able to protect his family from an ancient evil that still lurks in the darkness… Ashtagor.
