Andy Kubert

Andy Kubert began his career at DC Comics illustrating the acclaimed Adam Strange mini series then moving on to the highly successful Batman versus Predator series. He then went on to draw Marvel Comics’ popular X-Men title, which was consistently a sales juggernaut and remained their top-selling comic during his six-year run. Also at Marvel, Andy drew the original Wolverine: Origin and Marvel 1602 miniseries, for which he collaborated with New York Times best-selling author Neil Gaiman. He also had pencilling stints on Captain America, Thor, Ultimate Iron Man and Ka-Zar.

For DC, Kubert has illustrated the bestselling Batman and Son (co-creating Bruce Waynes` son, Damian, with writer Grant Morrison), Flashpoint (with Geoff Johns), Batman: Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader? (again with author Neil Gaiman), and Dark Knight III: The Master Race (with the legendary Frank Miller, along with writer Brian Azzarello and inker Klaus Janson) in addition to a six-issue Superman series, Superman: Up in the Sky, with multiple Eisner Award-winning writer Tom King.

Most recently, Andy has collaborated with writer Tom Taylor on another Batman project entitled “Batman: The Detective”.
